The Truth About Apple Products

After receiving the highly anticipated notification to update our Apple devices to iOS 14, we all most likely hit the “Update later tonight” button. Thereafter, the handy app Widgetsmith took the digital TikTok world by storm, and we all began striving for our ideal home screen aesthetic. This may have taken hours, but it was a worthwhile investment!

Apple products have no doubt dominated the college atmosphere (hint: FaceTime is such a helpful tool during these times of social distancing). Waltz into any Starbucks, and you’ll spot at least five MacBooks. While these devices are user-friendly for Generation Z individuals, we can’t help but think about how they aren’t exactly pocketbook-friendly!

The prices for the new MacBooks can range from $1,000-$2,000, which is definitely not practical. However, there are methods of getting your favorite models of MacBooks, iPhones, and Apple Watches at a cheaper price. First off, Education and Veterans’ benefits can save you a couple hundred dollars. You can also buy refurbished options from stores like Best Buy. Moreover, the holidays are your best friend. While it’s fun to celebrate with friends and family, you can also treat yourself to an electronic of your choice at a lovely ~sale~ price. Don’t forget  Black Friday is a prime time for affordable deals!

On the aesthetic side of things, Apple hooks us up every year with a new rose gold product to add to our collection; but what about a lovely sky blue or a calming green? Well, Apple delivered just that with its new 2020 iPad Air. The tablet was released at the beginning of this month and had all of us consider trading in our MacBooks for Apple Pencils and iPads. With faster processing than ever before and the special stylus companion (that allows you to draw and design to your heart’s desire), the new iPad Air has much to offer. The starting price point at a little under $600 (Education pricing) is also a tad easier to fork over than any new MacBook’s retail price. Trade in one of your old electronics at your nearest Apple Store and receive some cashback too!

Taking notes, keeping in touch with loved ones, and pinning posts on Pinterest is made easy with any Apple device, but let's just hope iOS 14 doesn’t (or does?) make our devices ~mysteriously~  glitch to make us purchase new ones.
