The spooky season might be over but the cute holiday-themed get-togethers with the girls are just getting started. This November, we’ve got the best tips for your Friendsgiving.

Food

Friendsgiving is the perfect time to bring out your polished cooking/baking skills to the table (thanks, quarantine) and get creative with easy-to-follow recipes. We’re talking everything from the main dish to the savory sides, and of course the dessert table. This get-together would not be complete without the turkey dish, but if you don’t have the time to cook, a fresh rotisserie chicken from your local grocery store will be just as tasty.

If you are looking to make your own, there are some great and simple recipes you can find on Pinterest (like the lemon pepper rotisserie chicken) and cook in under two hours. To accompany the main dish, any kind of savory plates such as mashed potatoes, cheesy macaroni, and dinner rolls will go perfectly with any meat dish. Add different cheeses like Monterey Jack or cream cheese to your macaroni, and pop it in the oven for a yummy twist! These simple sides are a great option because they can easily be spiced up if you’re feeling creative in the kitchen.

For Friendsgiving dessert, think simple sweets like pumpkin treats or chocolate lava cakes that can be made without much trouble. A classic pumpkin pie with whipped cream or an Oreo cheesecake will bring the final touches of the Friendsgiving dinner to a yummy close.

Decor

This year, we’re going to be moving away from the traditional fall color schemes and going for darker shades of pastels with a hint of metallic. You are going to want to look for gold and rose gold items that will complement the classy and bright feel of this year’s Friendsgiving. Rose gold and pastel pink balloons accompanied with a few darker burgundy ones will make the style come together. Pop in some occasional gold balloons to add some contrast, along with a few white-colored or pastel orange pumpkins to add the feel of fall. If you are looking for a Friendsgiving balloon banner to complete the decor, there are tons of options online where you can find one quickly and easily like Amazon. Last but not least we’re talking dinnerware! For this year’s Friendsgiving we are thinking simple but elegant.

Get ready to have the most aesthetic Friendsgiving with the tastiest dishes and classically elegant decor!
